Simple problem on Converting Percentage into Decimal

A simple problem on converting given percentage into decimal number and vice versa.

There are two problem to make you understand how to convert given percentage into decimal number and the next one is all about decimal number to percentage.

Problem : Convert 0.7% to decimal number and 0.355 to percentage.

Solution :

0.7%
= 0.7/100 (to convert percentage need to divide given numerator by 100)
= 7/1000 (when decimal point shifts, need to append one more zero to right side of the denomenator)
= 0.007

and 0.355
= 355/1000
= 35 . 5/100
= 35 . 5%
